Method Description
CIELAB colorspace measurement on liquids using the Aeros HunterLab Spectrophotometer involves analyzing color properties in terms of lightness (L*), chroma (a* and b*). This method provides accurate and objective color data for liquid samples, facilitating quality control in industries such as food and beverages. It ensures consistent color representation, aiding in product development and maintaining desired standards.

Additional Information
Hunter: This analysis is best used to compare several samples or to compare a sample to a previously determined standard. Samples can be liquids, powders, solids, and particulates. Minolta: This method and the Hunter Colorimeter method are similar and report using the same scales. However, the optics of the instrument differ, resulting in slightly different interpretations of the reflectance spectra. The result is that the two instruments will provide slightly different color values on the same sample. This may be important if data is compared to previous results generated by other laboratories.
